This term Lime Tree Class have been learning about World War II

On Friday 5th December we went to visit the RAF museum in Colindale support our learning. We were able to see  and go into some of the planes used in the war. We took part in a  workshop, we experienced a little of how it felt to be a child of the war. We had to make a box to carry our gas mask and ID card. We listened to a talk about WWII, including information about shelters used and the air raids sirens. Just as the talk finished the air raid siren sounded and we had to run to the shelter, it was very loud!
